Story Relationship
The Malayalam film continues the Georgekutty storyline after Drishyam 2 (2021). The Hindi film is an original screenplay written for the Hindi characters and is not a remake or adaptation of the Malayalam third film. This was confirmed by the Hindi team.
Franchise Status
Jeethu Joseph has spoken about possibly continuing or concluding the Malayalam arc. The Hindi team explicitly positioned Drishyam: The Conclusion as the final chapter of the Hindi franchise.
